Executive Assistant II
At The Founders Playground, we believe in fostering innovation, collaboration, and fun. We’re seeking a tech-savvy, proactive, and deeply organized Administrative Assistant to help keep our internal operations running smoothly while supporting project delivery, marketing efforts, and business development.
Position Overview
The Founders Playground LLC is seeking an Alabama-based part-time Executive Assistant to join our team remotely, with some travel required (<25%). This temporary position runs from September 2025 to February 2026, with the potential for extension based on future contracts. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for program design, marketing, and community and economic development.
Key Responsibilities
🧾 General Administrative Support

Assist with general administrative tasks such as organizing files, tracking progress, preparing summaries, or following up on action items

Provide backup support across operations as needed to ensure smooth workflow
🔍 Research & Project Assistance

Conduct research on leads, potential clients, and strategic partners

Assist in managing and updating project timelines using ClickUp
-
Track time using Toggl and support follow-up on project deliverables
⚙️ Process & Automation Support

Maintain and improve internal automations
-
Help document standard operating procedures (SOPs)

Support the implementation of tools and workflows that increase team efficiency
📈 Light Marketing & Content Creation

Draft and edit blog posts, LinkedIn content, and internal communications

Assist with bulk content creation in Canva

Help with social media scheduling and occasional website updates
Qualifications

🛠 Tools & Tech (Preferred)

Familiarity with: Google Workspace, HubSpot, ClickUp, Canva

💼 Experience

Minimum 2 years in an administrative, marketing, operations, or project/product support role (doesn’t need to have “admin” in the title)

Compensation

Hourly Pay: $15/hour

🧑💻 We hold weekly office hours via Zoom (typically 2–3 hours/week) to collaborate in real-time. While times can occasionally shift, we aim to keep them consistent week-to-week to support team rhythm.
